I didn't expect them to be so bright, but they are really bright! I needed them to replace burnt out traditional Christmas lights for a project I did a few years ago. The color is pink, quite pink. The brightness is great, and when they are grouped (like in the shield I made) the brightness is a little too high. My project was to place a light in a rectangle about every 1 inch on a wooden sign. The light is fed through the holes and fixed with craft glue (E6000). These lights were almost the perfect size for my previous standard light holes. Due to the shorter length of the "bulb" I had to drill slightly larger holes for these LEDs. One downside was that about every 25 bulbs has more light, probably a load balancer to prevent overload and burnout. This gave me a bit of a headache during my particular project, but YMMV depends on your usage. A great LED filament option if you need LEDs for a project or decoration!
