5 years have passed! I highly recommend using a tall storage bag/container with a lid or side cutout for the cat to get inside. So far this is the only long term option that has worked for my standing and peeing cat. However, the other cat makes great use of this box and no longer carries litter everywhere! I put this box next to the regular double sided box when I first got it 4 years ago just in case the cats didn't want it. Love the new box. The old box still has junk lying around, but what about the new one? nope i seriously love this The front end is low enough that even my arthritis-stricken cat can use it (when not using her bag). Shipping was super fast and it comes in a really big box filled with fun paper cat stuffing! Product Features: The box has molded handles and a spout (embedded in the hole design) for easy replacement. DIMENSIONS (as listed on product label): 22.8" L, 17.8" W, 11" H except for the front opening. The front opening measures 5" in the center and almost 6" on the sides /edges. It's shaped like a shovel and tipped a few inches into the box. This design makes it incredibly easy and convenient to dispose of the rubbish. * I also bought the matching shovel.
