A New Way to Clean - Cleaning Cloths

Recommended to me by a good friend who is a thorough cleaner. I've found that there are things I like about them and things I need to get used to. For example, they're great for drying shower tiles after a shower and seem to get rid of the small bits of original mold you sometimes see in grout. The glass polisher does an amazing job but I'm still not sure I'm using it properly. I wipe the mirror with a damp cloth, then I wipe it dry with glass polish and the mirror shines. But is it worth polishing without water? I do not know. I haven't tried window polish yet. Clothing soaked in hot water is great for cleaning the front of kitchen cabinets. However, they didn't come with clear instructions and if I didn't have anyone to turn to I would have given up after a few days. You have to wash them first to remove the lint from the processing (the glass polisher left lint all over the place when I first used it). You shouldn't wash them with too many towels, as towels make them fluffy. You shouldn't wash them with fabric softener (I didn't, but I didn't know there was anything to avoid). According to my friend, you should always rinse well with hot water and hang to dry from time to time and wring out in the washing machine. My main complaint is that after 70+ years of cleaning with soaps, bathroom cleaners and other chemicals, I have a really hard time believing that my bathroom is actually clean after wiping everything down with a warm, damp e-towel. It looks clean, it smells clean, but it was too easy for the room to be clean. But I'm getting used to it. Another word of caution, if like me you like to wrap your Swifter in a damp cloth to mop your floors, a regular e-cloth won't do the trick. It continues to stick to the surface instead of sliding on it. I don't know if their floor cloth (not in the starter kit) works better or not.
