Like many other similar items (eg towel rail) the problem is that they use drywall end caps and you screw the item onto the end cap. Sheetrock is hardly a durable material, especially if you pierce it. (The plugs slowly pull out over time.) This mirror is quite heavy, which makes hitting the drywall even worse. If you can't rack it, I wouldn't use your hardware to mount it. If you have access to the wall behind you can screw the panel to the back and just use a nut/bolt to hold it in place. If you don't have access to the back, you can use an expanding drywall anchor. Drive it in just like the anchors they give you, but as you screw it in the backing expands and is about 2-3 inches wide. The only way out is to take half the wall with you!
