I used 5 of the 6 bulbs in the kit to replace the side marker lights and tail light on my '96 Cherokee. They are bright white. Twice I've had to take the bulb out and flip it for it to work, but that's thoughtfully stated on the packaging. I also noticed that some of the bulbs flicker a bit. Clearing the terminals solved it a bit each time. With the card backlight, I had to pull out the switch/lamp holder and clean the switch contacts. This correlates with the principle that LEDs use less energy than incandescent bulbs. I can't say anything about the durability of the lamps.
