I don't know much about helmets so I studied them. A LOT OF. We went to a specialty store and looked at all the brain protection helmets they had. We ended up ordering 3 different helmets for my husband from Revain. THIS helmet was the winner (third time - nice). I just wanted to make sure that whatever helmet we get will protect my husbands head really well because it's impossible to replace. I read reviews and some people have survived motorcycle accidents thanks to this helmet. And LS2 helmets are used by professional motorcycle racers who fly. So why not my husband while speeding his monster electric scooter at 45mph or more (hell I hope not). , especially compared to the Bell helmet (which turned out to be heavy at 3.5 pounds) which we returned. It is COMFORTABLE on the head. The amount of pads in this helmet is really good. There is a retractable and removable tinted visor. You don't need sunglasses or goggles (although you can use them if you wish). There are real vents. workforce. The secure chin strap snaps quickly into place, allowing for secure/unlocking with gloved hands. All in all a great helmet for the money. It's not cheap or insanely expensive, but it's a quality helmet that does the job well. I highly recommend it. My husband says it's great. For reference some information about LS2 that I got during my research: LS2 started in China in 90's (the factory is located in China), LS2 is headquartered in Spain, they have offices in UK and USA as well as a big one Warehouse in Chicago. This is a global company. They have seals of approval from all major organizations (DOT, Snell, ECE, etc.). ***UPDATE 12/14/20*** After purchasing my husband unfortunately he was hit by a car and this helmet saved his life. Literally. My husband was hit with such force that he was thrown headfirst and crashed into a lamppost. The cop at the scene told him that in his 20+ years on the job he had never seen anything like this (someone gets beaten like him and they can get away with it alive) and that if my husband didn't have that helmet, that would be the end of it white sheet. Truly a miracle. The helmet itself is completely intact. Just scratches. I uploaded photos. WORTH EVERY PENNY. RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE AND WILL DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN IN MY HEART.
