Very user friendly broadcasting software

It's easy to use, it has many options for customization and you can easily add your own plugins/apps to extend functionality as needed. I like that there are so many different ways in which one could accomplish their goal with shoutcaster. Some people may dislike how some things work (like when adding new shows), but these issues have been addressed over time.

The best part about shoutcast is its ease of configuration and setup. You don't need any programming knowledge or experience, just plug-in and go! We run our station from home and this makes managing everything very simple.

Can be used locally without an internet connection great if using at remote location such ours where we do not get reliable wifi access most times.
