Professional advice from an experienced cat groomer

This is double sided tape. Quite easy. But as a cat owner of 4 and the adoptive parent of a 3 year old cat, I have one piece of advice for cat owners: put tape on a piece of cardboard (or something equally useless but hard) and then tape some cardboard on top. next to an unwanted scratch object. So just throw away the piece of cardboard when you no longer need it. You don't have to worry about the tape ruining the furniture, and the cardboard isn't as transparent as the tape so you can see where it is (note this WILL NOT HELP those who stumble at night with the lights off - another pro tip). I use duct tape to stop my cats from scratching my door 20 minutes before my morning alarm. They're big enough to reach and hit a doorknob, and I'm not very good at gluing a doorknob. So I unpack an old box, seal it with tape and put it in front of the door. I cut it long enough that the cats can't reach the door above or around it and I can easily pick it up and put it aside when we have company. Prevent street care cats from pooping right next to their litter box. I taped the cardboard and wrapped it around the box, leaving a small space (6 inches) for the cat to reach the box - the theory goes that cats are very clean animals and don't like to be on or around theirs would kick poop around . to get to the box. Went like clockwork! He immediately stopped pooping outside of the box and started pooping in the box and he never did again in the 4+ months we had, even after the box was removed.
