USB charging ports stopped working after about a year but we relied on this as a travel charger so it might have failed sooner if it would have been used constantly. I wouldn't buy this again. 20180731 UPDATE: After I posted the above review, the seller contacted me and replaced the defective unit and I verified that the USB charging function was working again. I also put the old device on the oscilloscope and noticed that pins 1 and 4 of the USB ports have a 0 Vdc difference (should be 5 Vdc) which means that the internal part has failed somehow, not that so something like USB ports are getting weaker. Time.
