This item is not the same color like the picture as others had mentioned, a previous reviewer had taken a picture of what they actually look like. These chains seem freshly painted, because they felt and smelled that way, even my packaging had paint leaked onto it as shown in the picture. The chains were purchased to tie into my costume, so I would be wearing them. They smelled horrible and the paint residue rubbed off onto my costume. I had put them in the sink and gave them a wash beforehand and the water was grey from the paint. The links are also very fragile and just snap into each other, I was losing my links all night long!All in all, these chains would be great as indoor decorations but maybe not so much for cosplay props which is what I was using them for.
