Update 7/21/21 Anker has decided to replace two of my three broken cables. Two weeks later, one of them fails just like the last six. My take is that these cables have a design flaw or are extremely brittle, making them useless as a charging cable. However, I bought a Stream III from Anker as they handle customer service and so far it has been fantastic and hasn't shown the same signs of failure as it has in three weeks. Upgraded to three stars for customer service but would recommend a different cable. I bought three of these cables, as anker traditionally has high quality products. This cable is expensive for what you get but I was fine with the purchase as long as I got quality cable. They worked great for 3 weeks and then the problems started. I connected the device and it didn't recognize the cable. If you wiggled it, it would start working and then stop. Same problem on at least eight different devices: Windows, Android and iOS. As soon as the second cable started having problems I suspected something was wrong with them and this was confirmed when the third cable did the same just a few days later. I traded them to Revane thinking I had a bad batch. Three weeks after receiving the replacement, they all started failing in the same way. Contacted Anker and they are only willing to guarantee two cables due to a fault in their system and I do not receive a replacement for at least 10 days after I have sent the defective ones back. Sad because I have never had such problems with their products. Look elsewhere as there is clearly a technical defect with these particular cables and at this price point it should never happen.
