I have no complaints about this unit. It just works, costs a lot less and takes up less space than a Lenovo dock. My device is using a lot of power so the hub won't charge my computer. Since my computer is TRYING to charge from the port, the computer must be connected to its own power source for everything to work properly. I agree. My wife has a smaller Mac that charges correctly. My setup has a DisplayPort monitor and an HDMI monitor and some peripherals like a keyboard and mouse connected to the USB ports. Disconnecting and reconnecting several times a day works fine. I didn't see any problems. I have a workaround: my wife and I shared a table. She has a Mac and I have a Windows PC. When we switch between two machines, we have to turn the docking station off and on again by unplugging it and plugging it back in. It's quick and easy. usb-c. Although no monitors were detected, the USB hub and other features like the card reader work fine. I am satisfied with the docking station.
