Review on 🔶 Espresso Wood Round Table with Drawer and Shelf by Frenchi Furniture by Margarita Conde

Updated: December 2, 2020 One of the legs has a 3/4 jump. At first I thought it was imperfect workmanship. Closer inspection reveals a knot in the wood and a crack that has formed along the edges of the knot. I have contacted the manufacturer through the support page provided by Revain but have not yet received a response. Another week with no response, another star gone! So the quality is, but about what I expected for the price. It will serve the expected purpose, but it's not a high quality piece of furniture. Some flaws in workmanship are to be expected. Partly it is real wood, partly pressed wood chips. The legs appear to be made entirely of wood, but the finish leaves a lot to be desired. The upper part is a hybrid of natural wood veneer and chipboard. The lower tables are also sheathed with veneer on chipboard. I had no issues with the assembly, the holes lined up and the screws went in properly with no trouble except that some of the pilot holes were punched instead of drilled. I recommend screwing everything loosely at first, this makes alignment easier, and tightening everything at the end. I'm happy with it for the price, but it's not a great piece of furniture and I wasn't expecting it. Would buy again.
