Cub Scout Project for bean bags and shoe bags
Looking for a project for my Webelos (10 year old Cub Scouts). The instructions are very simple: waxed thread, a needle, 4 lengths of faux suede and a small amount of plastic beads for stuffing. The sample bag I just made - before ordering 15 kids - leaves me a little undecided if this project is for boys. The holes punched in the fabric sewed together very easily, but the bag came out spherical (like a soccer ball) rather than round, and I don't think there were enough plastic beads to darn it properly. I could probably use twice as many plastic beads.
