Works great as a little backpack or second-hand luggage. It's a bit heavier than some on the market, probably due to the waterproof material, but it's durable and highly functional. I used it as a carry on/daypack on a trip to Australia. It holds a lot without being too big. Exterior compartments for water bottle, phone, food bars are easily accessible. The Kindle fits in a flap pocket or phone. There is a hidden pocket between the body and the backpack. Good for your passport or other items you don't want pickpockets to get their hands on easily. The shoulder strap shows slight signs of wear at the top of the backpack where the strap is located. You have to rub while walking. Hope that won't be a problem. Overall I am very happy with this backpack.
