This seemed like the perfect solution for my dark counter - and it brings light... when it works. It could be brighter, but the real problem is that the motion sensor is pretty much useless and the battery is pathetic. The motion sensor works sometimes, but most of the time it just stays on and drains the battery. I've gotten to the point where I just turn it on and off as needed, but even that drains the battery too quickly. This is a cheap option and you get what you pay for... Oh, and I already sent the first one back because the motion sensor didn't work AT ALL. At first this seemed to work, but quickly turned out to be no better than the first one...save the hassle and hassle and spend a little more on a better model/brand...
