I have two cats and they both love to scratch the corners of my couch and chair. My cats are slowly ruining my furniture and I had to find a solution (declawing was not an option for me). In fact, they are transparent stickers that will not ruin your furniture. To attach them, peel off one side of the strip and stick it to the corner of your furniture. Once attached, peel off another cover to reveal the adhesive strip. I have to say they really work. At first I only put them where cats scratch, but I quickly realized that my cats found another corner to scratch. So I decided to put them in every corner of every upholstered furniture in my house. The scratching has stopped. I really like that these adhesive strips are transparent and cannot be seen on the furniture at all. They're also easy to remove if you want to remove or replace them. Over time, fur and other random things will appear on the adhesive strips, requiring them to be replaced. This item works well and is definitely worth buying to save your furniture.
