I wasn't expecting much from a monopod + tripod that costs under $25 and it exceeded my expectations *a lot*. The build quality is way better than I expected and the functionality is fantastic. I've used this with Ricoh Theta V spherical cameras as well as a GoPro Hero 5. I like to place the cameras directly on the tripod base when I need them on a desk/table and add a telescopic monopod for some height. I probably won't be using it as a selfie stick any time soon, but I'll give it a try with a full-size DSLR to stabilize shots when I can kneel or otherwise be on the ground. The only improvement I could think of is higher quality. Ball head as aiming the camera is more difficult than it should be, however this will likely increase the price significantly.
