This device works exactly as I wanted it to. I have an old stereo. I stream music to it from my tablet and it sounds really good. It lacks CD quality to my ears. I have many remastered CDs that don't produce the same sound quality as music from a digital source. For those who want to get a clue as to how good it is, here's what I mean. I had the opportunity to compare music streaming with Bluetooth 4.2 (Galaxy S7 phone) and Galaxy Tab SA with Bluetooth 5.0. I found the audio from the 5.0 source to be better. In my opinion, if you buy this model, its quality depends on the connection with a Bluetooth 5.0 streaming device. Another observation: the first day I tried using it, the two devices connected slowly, I thought. I had to try three times to connect. I had to leave it for a few minutes to connect to my phone that first day. But after that, the devices connect in seconds. This delay can be due to either the transmitter or the Auris. That first day experience is behind my title. After the initial pairing, it was as simple as turning on the stereo and selecting an input source. Small detail: I bought a silver model. It's an attractive contrast to all the dark electronics cases these days.
