This massage cushion has always saved me. I'm probably already 4 or 5 months old. My office chair, which I work in from home, was causing terrible hip and lower back pain, even with the $40 pillow I bought from Revain. The functionality of THIS massage and heating pad is incredible for the price. It has saved my lower back from countless injuries (most recently from exercise). After a few hours in my chair, a 15 minute massage (settings: high intensity - kneading mode) and I'm ready to sit another 3-4 hours with no issues. I injured my back on vacation and with this pillow I can still sit 8 hours a day with no problem. In fact, I think it helped the recovery process (I don't know exactly). I used this pillow in my car to pick up my parents from a nearby town about 1 hour away and I was very concerned that the journey would aggravate my back as long journeys in my car could cause it. I tried the auto function and it worked just as well as it did in my home office. I was really surprised that the vibration was so strong.
