Review on Enhanced Cozy 🚗 Roadster by Little Tikes by Kevin Ilango

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Adorable but the assembly was a WHEELS' DELICIOUS!

Great little toy but was a NIGHTMARE to put together. My 12 month old grandson will go nuts for this little stroller on Christmas morning. I've gone insane for a whole different reason! First of all I have to say that the instructions are very well written and the pictures helped a lot! My problem was in one of the axes. For those reviewing this product, when you look at the wheels you will see a red plastic plug in the center of the hubcap. In fact, these are metal nuts covered in red plastic. You have to hammer the metal bars of the axle into the red nuts/ends and then put the cap, the wheel, the plastic part and then the washer in place and then take this axle and insert it through the bottom of the buggy and on the other side you then put one another washer, another piece of plastic, another wheel, another hubcap and then hammer in another red nut/end. Muscles, hammering and swearing to finally get the washers and plastic pieces onto the axle rod (once fitted they fitted correctly so it was just a problem in the end) and axle rod through the bottom of the buggy, but it took a while bit file and hammer. and I still had black plastic shavings and blue plastic shavings everywhere. This took about 90 minutes! But that wasn't even the worst of it. The worst came when it was time to put in the last red nut/end .no matter how hard I tap! There was an extra nut/end in the pieces and I couldn't attach it either! The axle tool that came with the buggy was useless for this part, so I used either a mallet or mallet to avoid breaking the white cap. t will not score in the end. I tried several people! I even took it to my neighbor who couldn't wear the damn thing either! 2 days before Christmas I realized that my grandson would not enjoy this toy for Christmas. No Christmas morning, wow factor! After 3 hours of chiseling (4.5 hours of assembly) I got really pissed off and grabbed this hammer, putting my hand next to the hammer head and hitting it so hard I was surprised I hadn't destroyed the wheel and hubcap! I hit and hit and hit, realized I hit! I hit him over and over again until he was safe. I was happy that it continued! The Christmas wow effect is possible again! I assembled everything else, applied stickers and everything was ready to go. It's adorable and I know my grandson will flip it (my 10 year old nephew who lives with me and played a big part in building the buggy would love it if he could drive it too!) but it was too much work, and the axle rod needed to be a better size or not deform as easily when driven in because of those red ends that need to be driven in! In fact, a lot could be collected, but Lite Tikes is lazy! I'd welcome the pre-boxed wheels and axles and bodywork already fitted, but that's wishful thinking. I hope my hands, arms and legs don't hurt until Christmas morning when I assemble this stroller! Building issues give this toy 1/2 stars, but because it's so cute and we know it's going to be a hit, it got 4 stars. Hope Little Tikes is listening to create complaints and make it more user friendly. Much luck! 👼
