It wasn't that easy to assemble. It consisted of driving the end parts (axle caps) onto the axle. But if you do, you're clogging up part of the axle and making it harder for other parts to get through. (Just make sure you don't do this on carpet). I love this little car. We hardly ever used the small canopy. I love this car because it fits in the trunk of my car and I can take it to many places. Great little toy but was a NIGHTMARE to put together. My 12 month old grandson will go nuts for this little stroller on Christmas morning. I've gone insane for a whole different reason! First of all I have to say that the instructions are very well written and the pictures helped a lot! My problem was in one of the axes. For those reviewing this product, when you look at the wheels you will see a red plastic plug in the center of the hubcap. In fact, these are metal nuts covered in red plastic.
