Update: I've had it for a few months now. It is not calibrated and does not provide accurate or even remotely accurate temperature readings. I've tried calibrating it many times using the ice bath method, the results are the same. Still reads high. The display keeps rotating so the display is right side up for a second and then flips upside down without me moving. The display also rotates constantly and measures the temperature of the food. In this case, it is very difficult to read or understand the display. For these reasons, I've given ease of use a "1" star. All in all I give 1 star. Not worth the price or questions. I tried the cut again last night, again it didn't work. Throw it away in the trash! We go to Walmart and buy a meat thermometer for $4.
