Amazing barre shoes!

I ordered these for my first barre classes as an adult. Unfortunately I never took ballet classes and always wanted to do this type of fitness but I needed something to protect my legs and I was stable. They are amazing for comfort and grip - although I work on wood veneer floors - they do their job pretty well. I slide a little in certain positions like planks but when I have to slide they are really good. how much sweat Everyone does it to some degree, but I can't say it was overkill for me. In terms of a barre shoe, this is the best shoe in my opinion as it has good grip on my feet and gives a good range of motion and is comfortable as I don't hit the ground with my heels with my heel cup which is AMAZINGly comfortable is. Sock style barre shoes that you see online suck for me as they cause bad friction on my feet and too much traction, while wrap-around "shoes" are fine but move depending on your foot shape and specific parts of your foot that are undesirable when turning onto the ground (and may also have too much or too little support). To me, these Bloch shoes are perfection. Too bad they are being discontinued by the manufacturer so get them while they last! said the shoes are wide enough, i'm actually 8.5-9) according to previous reviews i ordered 10 and although it fits me it looks almost bigger, although it looks just fine (because of the space i have since it's a a bit moved during some exercises I can adjust that from time to time) I also ordered 9 to compare and let's see if it's really small - that's why my feet are just not as big as I would like them to be. Ultimately, 10 works quite well and I couldn't be happier when they try to meet my goals. - Update: I ordered 9 which ended up being a tighter fit than 10 and saved me the trouble of regularly adjusting them. (Not that there was much excess fabric in the 10th, but it was enough to keep me adjusted throughout the workout). Although I'm a 40 year old European, the 9th works great. And because it's neoprene, it moves with your foot instead of constricting it, and it's not tight, just right.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
