Review on Orolay Womens Thickened Contrast Drawstring πŸ§₯ Women's Clothing & Coats: Stylish Jackets & Vests by Natasha Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

4.5* rating (great style, fit and function; decent quality)

I've had this coat for about a month so I'm feeling pretty comfortable giving a thorough and honest review at the moment . : 5/5. The cut of this coat is very flattering. I'm 5ft 7" and have wide (pear shaped) hips, so I often find the coat too tight in the hips. But this coat really suits me. I can actually sit with my coat fully buttoned up without choking myself. However, if you're usually in between sizes, I would go for the larger size, especially if you plan on wearing bulky sweaters/hoodies under this coat. I'm usually between M and L in a coat - the L size is perfect in this coat (not big but enough room to comfortably wear an oversized sweater underneath). For reference, I usually wear M/8 on top and L/10 on bottom. Style: 5/5 Elegant and modern, with a perfect combination of classic lines and interesting fashionable details. It's a great alternative to the typical black maxi puffer jacket every northeast suburban mom wears. In fact, I've received many compliments on this coat from teenagers and college students. Functionality: 5/5. The functionality of the coat is very important to me and this is the perfect solution. The front zip pockets are awesome. They're huge and can hold a ton of stuff (I'm talking keys, a small wallet, the iPhone 7plus, pepper spray, hand sanitizer, and hand lotion). I hate when coats have flat, awkwardly placed pockets that are useless. The pockets in this coat are probably my favorite detail. The zipped ribbed fabric inner collar is also a nice touch, keeping me warm without a scarf. Finally a great drawstring adjustable hood that covers my whole head and keeps the rain and snow out. Thermal insulation: 4/5. This coat is definitely warm, but not enough for very cold days when temperatures drop into puberty or below (unless I'm wearing very warm clothing underneath). Perfect for a typical Northeast winter day (between 20-40 degrees Fahrenheit). Quality/Longevity: 3/5. After a month of wearing, a hole formed in the bottom of the coat. This is easy to fix though, I've never had a coat tear. Some feathers came out from under the lining which is annoying but not the end of the world. The quality is questionable, although given the price I won't complain too much. Overall rating: 4.5 stars, I will definitely buy this coat again.
