Will not work immediately after installation. I have followed all the advice. I have propane, no leaks, no air in line, propane pressure is normal. i have spark However, the ignition circuit will not automatically ignite propane gas. Propane is extremely flammable. It will ignite the gas if you do two or three ignition cycles manually, but not automatically. What a pain for a $500 water heater. I'm still trying to find advice on setting the igniter. Update: The spark produced by the igniter was right of center, almost to the edge of the gas tube. It was also centered vertically. I adjusted the spark position slightly closer to the center of the gas tube and down. Now it ignites the first propane gas spark every time. The factory should have done that. The distance hasn't changed.
