Dirty water flows into clean water when using the dehumidification function. So your clean mopping water is now dirty. When I wipe the mop I have clean water with soap/detergent/bleach and I rinse the dirty mop in the kitchen sink or a separate bucket, dip the mop in the cleaner - they never meet. It does not get into the joints, not even with a scouring pad. This isn't my favorite, I'll try to find a way to prevent water from entering the clean side and going to the dry side. It has a convenient carrying handle and a drain plug on the bottom. Why can't dirty water get into dry water? I'm not keen on it anyway, but it's easier for small jobs where the floor is mostly clean and you touch it up, but not for serious mopping.
