Review on Carson TriForce Series 3-Way Fluid Panhead Aluminum Lightweight Tripods: Perfect for Binoculars, Monoculars, Cameras, Spotting Scopes, and More! by Danny Lavimodiere

This tripod is decently built

TF-200: 58" This tripod is decently built, mostly plastic (feels like ABS) and aluminum. There's also mild steel, brass threaded inserts, and acrylic plastic. The fluid head is adequate, but smooth panning with a camcorder is difficult because the tripod body twists, which isn't unexpected given its weight (my usual tripod is the Bogen 3033, which weighs over 8 pounds with the head on alone). work with my DSLR where flexibility would be much less of an issue.I bought this specifically for travel where my regular rig would be too big to lug it through the airport with everything else. The head on my had to be tightened before use, but other than that it was ready to use.The head is removed from the bracket and there are three set screws on the wedge head mounting plate. to the tripod mount. The detachable shoe works decently and is wedged in tight enough not to rattle. I can't predict that in the long run, but I'll update my review if necessary.
