The top fits very well and overall the soft touch texture is very nice. There are multiple cutouts on the bottom for different ports on the sides, so it's pretty flexible. The bottom stays in place but is held in place by two *very* thin pieces of plastic, and you can also push the sides away from the Macbook's aluminum body due to the flex. I had a feeling this would likely be a problem. My solution was to apply three 2" strips of 3M double sided tape to the bottom of the computer next to the hinge and 3 on each side before attaching the bottom. (3M 2-sided transparent tape, is basically adhesive tape, only sticky on both sides) The bottom is now stuck firmly, the air vents are not sealed, the stickers are not damaged, etc. It can be peeled off if desired and any residue left can be easily removed from the Macbook's aluminum casing with a little naphtha (lighter fluid). obsessive compulsive disorder Just buy a roll of 2-sided 3M tape for $2. :)
