Didn't fit me, left a yellow stain.

Although this product was quite simple in its direction (peel and press), it did not look good after application, this strange yellowish tent appeared a few times after taking a shower, do not know what the matter is . I will have to buy another strip but a bigger one to cover the spot I have now.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Not worth the effort

Although caulking a bathroom is actually difficult, it's a lot easier than using this caulking strip. I followed the directions up to the T, but a few days after I started showering again this thing started falling off. My advice to a novice stainer: watch a video on You Tube and buy a real tool that makes bathroom caulking easier. This material is not an answer to making work easier.

Don't waste money.

I used to buy another brand and used it in one of my bathrooms. Given the low price I thought I'd give it a try for half the price of the others. Well as they say you get what you pay for. Shit! Does not move smoothly on curved surfaces. Very thin material and not of the quality I would put in my bathroom. I will go back and buy another brand for $19.99 as it is higher quality and has better adhesion.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Need a good glue!

Overall it was easy to use and did what I intended, but the clutch was already starting to loosen. You can see I used this more as a decorative finish. I can't imagine it would do well in a place where it's regularly exposed to water. The spot indicating the room was flush when first installed so the lack of traction caused the bar to move. I love the look so I plan on putting some extra glue on it to make it work.

Not dirty! on Caulk

If you're confused about coining something, this might help, but only if you're walking in a straight line. Read the instructions carefully and follow them. I've done this and the strips are still holding, but I've used them in an area that's little used now. You look good. I had a hard time keeping the strip folded in half as I inserted it where the table top meets the baking spray. I caulked the rest of my project the traditional way and I have to admit I prefer the look of the traditional…

Surprisingly easy in Adhesive Caulk

Let's just say I'm not a handyman. I read the instructions several times to make sure I understood what to do. I followed them closely. But by being me, I've managed to deal with breaking through my wall. I cleaned as directed 🧽. I made a bend and measured. I removed the transparent film from the tape. I left, I didn't get the right angle so I had to fold it back and start over that part. There are no problems with patching. I finished the first row, not perfectly, but reasonably. The second…

Has permanent creases/wrinkles that cannot be smoothed out

When you unfold it and apply it (bathtub sink) the ease and adhesion of application is fine. However, the main problem is that the surface that comes out is uneven and looks wrinkled/crumpled after application. I assume it's because it curls up and forms permanent creases. No matter how I tried to smooth them out, they wouldn't go away. And I tried various methods to smooth it out before just removing it and throwing it away. Update: I bought a larger thickness (1 inch) from another brand and…

Not at all what I expected

This is nothing but a nice clean seal line. I can tell exactly what it is. This is a thin piece of plastic that needs to be folded in half and glued on the other side. I was going to say "garbage" because that's where it ended up. But I wanted to give a precise description. If you're reading this I think it's just another one star review. If it's still interesting, be careful when cutting to length, you should leave the excess to shrink. That's what it says on the box and when I put it in I…
