I'm an online college student working on my master's degree, so I searched the market for a desktop computer. In the end I decided on this one. I have a few thoughts on the lap table that I think are worth sharing. The mouse pad area is on the right side. When you're typing, you want the computer area to be directly in front of you, and the mouse pad area sticks out unevenly to the right by about 5 inches. Supposing you are using this table on a sofa, you cannot use it on the right side of the sofa because it will hit the armrest. This way you sit on the left side or in the middle of the sofa. If you're planning on using a lap table on a one-seater sofa or chair, make sure you have enough space or you'll be constantly annoyed. - If you plan to lean back on the couch using the lap table, the mouse will slide off. There really isn't a good bumper to prevent the mouse from falling over. This can easily be modified if you're into DIY projects. Still pretty annoying. The manufacturer could have put something on the underside to keep the mouse from slipping. Before you buy, think about where you plan to use the lap brace. This lap table is best used (almost only usefully) for sitting upright on a sofa without armrests. If you want to use it while sitting upright on the sofa and the armrests won't bother you, then it is a 5 star product. The mouse will slide.
