Don’t use an expanding hose

I was initially using this sprinkler with one of those hoses that expands when under pressure. The oscillation will not work with an expanding hose. It’s fine to use if you want it to spray in a circle. I switched to a rigid hose and there was a significant difference in the power and distance of the sprinkler with no issues switching directions. It worked well in both scenarios

Sticky Sprinkler on my review.

I am disappointed in this sprinkler. I have used impact sprinklers quite a bit over the years but would not buy this one again because after the second use the mechanism would not allow the nozzle portion to turn. I am on city water and it is not "hard," so that is not the problem. The shaft seems to oxidize quickly, requiring me to lubricate it every time I use the sprinkler. This should not be necessary, and I'm hoping the vendor will arrange a return for this item.

Much better than a spiked sprinkler

The sprinkler mechanism is all metal and of very robust construction. I appreciated the clear instructions on what each of the adjustments did. The light weight of the base initially concerned me, however, when I hooked it up and ran the sprinkler, I found the base was perfectly adequate to hold the pulsating sprinkler in place even when placed on bare ground. Very nice unit, works very well. It is also much easier to place than the spiked sprinkler. Our soil is very hard when it gets dried out

Very Sturdy, Excellent Coverage, and Doesn't Tip Over

I have tried several plastic sprinklers and all of them leak, crack, or are so lightweight they tip over. Finally decided to be smart and order a metal sprinkler. It is simple to adjust the spray pattern and it covers the entire designated area with water, unlike the plastic ones that tend to water the edge of the pattern but not the center. I can drag it from one spot to another without it breaking or tipping over. I expect this to last many years.

Works like a charm in my review

I'm mesmerized watching this work. It was easy to set up and after setting it up there was nothing left to do except "let her rip".lol. It's a small sprinkler with big results and covers a large are. The sprinkler is made well and sturdy. One good feature is that the sprinkler is green and my garden hose is the same color green so it's almost camouflaged in my yard. impossible to set up and water correctly

used these types of sprinklers for decades but this one is impossible. Will not vascillate back and forth, just stays on one setting. I've tried every which way but to no avail.

Waste of money for my opinion

Terrible. It don’t spin. Just shoots in one spot. It’s like the fit is too tight. Just dropping an open ended water hose on the ground would be the same.

Solid sprinkler for my opinion

Works as designed. Adjusting the direction is harder than expected, but works fine. Performs well & covers a large area.

So far so good in my review

The sprinkler seems well made with all brass fittings so hopefully it lasts.Even though it is all metal, it still feels a bit lightweight. It's the middle of winter so I haven't tried it yet but I will come back to update this review when I do.Note, the instructions are terrible.

Well made but not usable for small area !

I tried several different sprinklers for watering a small front yard, about 10 feet by 10 feet. This sprinkler - STYDDI Pulsating Impact Sprinkler with Metal Base - is totally wrong for that job! It is adjustable, but I could never get it to do an area as small as 10 by 10 feet. It would be great for larger areas IMHO.

Without prior notice, this water sprayer came completely disassembled with next to no instructions!

When I tried to assemble, in spite no instructions were said to be necessary.Just not worth the trouble to keep trying to make work!

This sprinkler is a sturdy design but still lightweight. It is easily moved to different locations on lawn. But it needs sustained water pressure to function properly!

Value for the money

I have a 78x80 lot and this is perfect. Initially I had a little trouble understanding the maneuverability, since I am a first time home buyer. I am now completely comfortable with this product. It works great!

The caveat to being lightweight is that it tends to flip on its side. I just put a few rocks on the base & it works great. Thanks for attention!

Great sprinkler on my review.

This is replacing a sprinkler that I had for years but finally broke. The old one was made of plastic and was doomed to break eventually. This is all metal and I'm hoping for a longer life. It is also easier to make the adjustments to custom water my lawn. One of the reasons I love this sprinkler are the two pins that secure the sprinkler to the ground so it doesn't move.

Good stability good for me

Has good stability.stays where you set it. In my use, I have to readjust the spray shape with every (of several) sets to do my lawn, so I appreciate that it's easy to adjust quickly. The only thing I don't like about it is that the little brass flap that adjusts the distance is rather flimsy and bends too easily, they should have used a stiffer metal there.

This sprinkler appears well built but is much lighter than expected. Seems to be stable at medium pressure but not sure it will stay put with full pressure. Luckily I don't need full pressure.

NICE WATER SPRINKLER

Weighted and comes with anchors if you need them. I didn’t need them. Usually I can easily position the hose to set the sprinkler level.
