I upgraded to the Xiaomi Watch S1 from the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 because I wanted a device that was both more accurate and functional. The watch box remained sealed in its factory-issued cellophane and retained all of its stickers. The watch is compatible with the year 2022, but it is not compatible with Zepp Life, which was formerly known as Mi Fit and is set by Mi Fitness. The default firmware version was 1.2.87, and the program provided ate 1.320229. The update process was halted by 1%, and I had to click the "try again" button every 10-15 seconds until I finally gave up after 10 minutes (or 7%). It takes a long time to download dials; two megabytes took about three to four minutes. English-speaking dials, complete with a formatted date. There are now four applications that can be installed on the watch: the ability to book airplane tickets, a notebook, a calculator, and tags. It was possible to merely install the calculator; the rest of the program did not download. There is also a compass, a microphone, and a speaker in addition to a device that measures oxygen in the blood, calories, and pulse. We were disappointed to see the non-informative bar charts (a bunch of dots in a column, a bar = hour) in the application for pulse and SpO2; you can only grasp the minimum, maximum, and average values. I would prefer a line chart with details up to an hour, or at least one that is similar to what was available in Mi Fit. To evaluate health - it does not provide any information! Only on the watch itself, which has a limited display and no zoom capability, can line graphs be viewed. Installing a few dials in the evening was a productive way to kill an hour while waiting for other installations. It took me around 2.5 hours to install the firmware, and every 10–20 seconds I had to press the "try again" button. The rate at which the watch faces could be downloaded was unaffected by the meal. Comparatively, the maximum volume that can be reached on the phone while it is not set to speakerphone mode is equivalent to what can be heard through the speaker on the clock. The quality of the microphone is average. Even with an icon, notifications do not reveal the name of the app that initiated the notification. Active monitoring, with the most frequent possible readings of pulse and SpO2 over the course of one day; there is a remaining 50%. The application is broken, and all that is provided are summary graphs rather than detail. Integration available exclusively with Strave. There is no option to upload a file. As a health monitoring gadget, the watch is completely ineffective; it is merely a costly (14890r) fitness wristband and nothing else. I do not advise!
