A size small is a tad bit big for my women’s size 7 foot but when I wear a sock underneath, it fits a little better. I do wish they had a size extra small for women who do not wear a size 8 or above. That aside, they perform really well and keep all of the water out of my foot and leg due to the knee-high length. I wore them hiking on a damp/rainy PNW day and while my foot did get a little sweaty during the 2 mile hike, my foot stayed dry even though my hiking shoe got wet when I slipped off a rock and into a shallow stream. Since life happens in the wilderness, that made these a great pick and a must have for me.
