If you need to replace your thumb sticks to fix the "shift" problem, you might as well treat yourself to a good body replacement because you'll have to climb up to your neck in anyway dismantling. I don't know how to describe how comfortable these Joy-Con shells are, but if you've ever felt something that you thought was "blurry and plasticky" at the same time, then this is the kind of material. It feels fantastic and the variety of wood grain looks superb. The "soft plastic" provides extra grip and breathes new life into your old, worn-out Joy-Cons. Recommended! +1 for all the necessary (and extra) screws, springs, and plastic. The kit comes with everything you need to replace, although I already had the tools for the job. Just be sure to keep the plus, minus, home, and screenshot buttons as they aren't included. Nothing wrong with that, you might even choose to keep some of your original buttons. The ABXY buttons have embossed letters and the entire button is black so I decided to use those as they more closely match the black buttons on the left joy-con. Folks, are you ever going to make a left-hand version of the directional pad? Joycon? If so, then I'm interested!
