These headphones are suitable for children. The headphone sharing feature is perfect for kids. You sound great. They are comfortable for children or adults. They're cheap for the quality and features you get. I don't usually write many reviews, but I was so impressed by them that I wanted to share them with other parents who are disappointed with the quality of headphones designed for kids. . I'm a little music lover and with four kids I was extremely disappointed with all the kids headphones I had. I have used many popular phones with Revain and my kids find them uncomfortable and I am unhappy with the sound quality of these generic kids headphones. They solve all these problems and also have additional features that are very useful for both kids and adults. Sound The sound in these headphones focuses on the bass. The mids and highs are slightly set back compared to my Sennheiser HD599SE reference headphones. Vocals are a bit muddy and the soundstage is certainly in the cans, but they're still clear enough for most tunes. The bass is very strong and punchy and this is the most prominent feature you will notice. Pop, rap, and action movies work really well in these cans. Considering the price and sound quality of all the kids headphones I've used, this is a revelation. These are headphones that I could use every day and will not be disappointed. They sound good on the Revain Fire, which doesn't put out a lot of power, but the bass comes out when connected to a good source, like my LG phone with its powerful Quad DAC, or my Fiio headphone amp. Comfort and build quality My 8 year olds have small heads and fit comfortably in them. They're not even on the smallest settings. They are worn over the ears and do not put pressure on the head and ears. The headband is soft and I don't feel any pressure on my head unlike some other headphones I've used. They're all plastic and don't feel particularly premium, but they're well made and seem strong enough that I'm not worried about them breaking. My children are very careful with their belongings, so your results may vary. Features These are large cans, but they fold up to fit in a smaller space. They are still large when folded and seem a little big to my kids. They're closed, so they block out noise, but not to the same extent as active noise cancellation. I expect them to filter out some of the high frequencies on the plane and be loud enough for my kids to hear their shows over the noise of the engines. They come with two cables. One has a microphone and is designed to work with phones and tablets. The other side is a larger 1/4 adapter on one side and the other side is a standard size that is also twisted to avoid tangling. The cable routing is awesome. The headphones have two inputs, so you can plug any cable into the headphones depending on which jack you have on your source. You can also connect both cables and share the sound with another headphone. This is amazing for my kids as they are twins and often want to watch the same shows on the same device. While the headphones sound great and I would love them without this feature, this feature puts them first for me. I am impressed. These are great headphones at a great price for both kids and adults. I highly recommend it.
