First, the size of the cable is disproportionately large compared to such a small plug. At first I thought it would be great. It's pretty durable, and in some ways it's good, but in some ways it's bad. In terms of durability, this is a really good thing. I bought this cable specifically for my personal surveillance system, and in terms of convenience and portability, a big and heavy cable doesn't fare so well. Such a heavy cable is bulky and inconvenient to carry. Also, it's not flexible enough for this situation. If you use it on a stationary device as a patch cord, it should last you a long time.
