These lamps are installed like factory replacement lamps. The pigtail on the back facilitates connection to the vehicle's wiring harness and offers enough space for connection through the headlight basket. These lights are very bright and have greatly changed my ability to see even in low light. Night driving is much more comfortable than it used to be. The beams from these lights are focused and do not flood the entire area. The light on the sides is excellent and helps when cornering. I know it's more than standard halogen headlights, but there's absolutely no comparison when it comes to visibility. I even put them on the company truck I drive to work to be safer on my travels. I was skeptical about buying them as they don't have many reviews and are cheaper than other brands but I have no more doubts and would happily buy this product again if I need another pair of great headlights.
