Review on Razer Opus X Wireless Low Latency Headset: Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) - Bluetooth 5 by Bill Pulakanam

Decent Sound, Wrong Price

I had initially only a few hours with the headset. Unfortunately, after prolonged use, the left side of my headset stopped working and instead of running through the headbands, I found they lacked shine and just sent them back. For my friends who love bass, kicks and punch in your music, this isn't all you want. Terrible across the board when it comes down to it. If you're a fan of neutral sound then these will fit into that category. But for some reason all music sounds muffled, like someone is actively blocking the speakers. Now these might be my pair considering they broke mine but I have a feeling I'm not the only one who feels these headphones are definitely missing. If they were in the $50-60 range I would definitely recommend. A pair for $100. The ANC did absolutely nothing, I literally didn't notice any difference in the on or off state, I still heard everything clearly. Razer didn't necessarily get it wrong, but they certainly misjudged it.

Pros
  • 60ms Low Latency Connection: Enable gaming mode to activate the headset's wireless performance while playing games or watching videos on Bluetooth devices for a smoother experience
Cons
