As mentioned in the other reviews, you should probably go up a size. I don't think there is extra room at the top because mine is very narrow at the top and has extra room at the bottom. However, one thing is not mentioned: there are many lost threads hanging from various seams. I had to cut a lot. This seems redundant as the seams themselves look normal. Although the inside of the coat looks amazing. The hood is also big enough to wear over your hair when it's in a bun, which my other coats couldn't. I wore it several times in -5 degree weather and it was great. I can only recommend the purchase, it is definitely worth the price.
