Give This a Try - my new review

As cliche as it sounds, Thayers witch hazel really has changed my skin. Be forewarned, this is going to be a long, detailed description to best represent my experience with this product. In my teen years I struggled with my skin. I saw a dermatologist and was prescribed medicine, and later on I eventually found some relief with Proactiv. For the following10 years the pill was my method of birth control. It made my skin perfect. I never realized that was the case until I switched over to Mirena. For a little more than 2 years I struggled with my skin like I was a teenager again. At first I thought maybe it would just take time to even out. My flare ups weren't "the worst" you could see, but it was worse than anything I'd seen in years. I simplified my skin care in an attempt to clear it up, and unfortunately, that didn't work either.I saw a couple people on Instagram talk about Thayers rose petal witch hazel and I happened to have a $5 coupon. I normally wouldn't be as willing to spend $10 on toner but that coupon made me go for it. I am about 1/4 of the way through the bottle which is about 2 months in, so that also makes it a great investment.I was previously dealing with moderate breakouts on a weekly basis. Once one thing would clear up, something else would pop up. Although I can't say my skin has cleared 100%, I would put it at about 90%. And now, any spots that do come up, are mostly little red, flat bumps and not huge whiteheads that linger for a week. I actually haven't had a whitehead in months, which is major for me.I'll go ahead and describe my total routine. For over a year I've been washing in the morning with clean and clean morning burst (orange one) and walmarts brand of cetaphil at night. Then follow up with the Thayers and Olay moisturizer. I previously used astringent which severely dried out my skin but didnt help half as much.Even if you don't have a coupon, spend the $10 and give this a try. I can't guarantee it'll work for you but it made me admire my skin again for the first time in years. If you're struggling with your skin, give this a try.
