Every month I will use a scalp exfoliating product on my head. Having just returned from a drier desert state, my skin was incredibly dry and my scalp was dry too. I could use a facial moisturizer but didn't know what to use on my head. When I saw these, I decided to try them. It gave my scalp extra moisture (alongside the conditioner) and really helped with the itching. I left it on for about 5 minutes longer (20 minutes total) just to make sure it really got into my head. The smell is as expected, minty fresh as my previous scalp scrub also had a similar smell. It's slightly cool to the touch and feels comfortable - doesn't burn or irritate the scalp. After rinsing, the hair is clean but not dry. I feel like it got rid of all the dirt that had built up on my scalp and it's a nice feeling of cleanliness. If you have used scalp scrubs before and are looking for another brand to try, I would recommend these. After trying and loving this product from Act + Acre I am intrigued and now want to try their shampoo and conditioner.
