I'll start by not using the "apple pencil". I bought this first before spending $150 on the Apple version. So far I am very impressed with this quality. I don't know how the Apple version can be so much better than this one. The only issue I had is how sensitive the on/off button is. I accidentally hit it all the time, but it's not that big of a deal. It is very convenient that it is put on the top of the iPad. I have a new 2021 12.9" Pro version, not sure if that matters, I'm not sure. As I said, I would like the power button to be a push button, not a 'touch' - version. If you try
