Put a small silicone bead on it when assembling. Still seem as cheap as the factory but would highly recommend if you need to replace broken or weak bearings.

Because the Colorado sun was drying out the plastic clips on my RV I ordered these replacement clips, all the holes lined up perfectly and each clip had a butyl tape on the back Lightweight and a great one spare part.

I was able to replace an old broken latch with a shiny new one by removing and replacing two screws. The screw holes matched the existing ones so no additional holes had to be drilled. There are 12 pieces in a pack, so I can change everything on the trailer at the same time.

Looks great works great just learned by trial and error Install them as big as the front door Would like to use a clip to hold on as the plastic ends are a bit slippery and I don't know where the old mounting holes I removed were covered up when I painted the RV.

We just bought a used van and half of these clamps needed replacing or we just wanted to add more. We looked around and it was the best value for money. They were easy to install and are still holding up as intended. Over time we will learn more about how durable they are.

Silicone to improve fit. I think the most important aspect of them is that they really cling to your door that you keep open. And they do a great job. The pointed ends literally stick to the door and prevent concussions.

Works great but the holes may be a little different. Corrosion will be your biggest hurdle as it can make bolt holes larger. You can use thick psh toothpicks in the collapsed hole and new screws are put in. I lubricated the bolts with silicone sealant and also sealed the sides and top of the latch. They even put latches on the doors that weren't factory, they just painted them the color of the car.

They are slightly larger than my original pads but the screw holes were positioned correctly which was my main issue. The spring font has a lot of tension and sometimes won't close on its own. I reused the gasket from the old clamps, but you should probably replace the water gasket. My 13 year old daughter replaced them for me and needed my help holding the clamp open while she installed the screws. I reused old screws. but those that came seemed good. Not sure how they will survive baking in…

They're plastic and I think if you're into rough stuff they might not survive. The prize is a fantastic hope and a bag of 12. So. fuses. No foam backing/padding. I applied some silicone. I bought them for 12 because of the hole configuration already in place and the price. And I'm aware of the potentially delicate nature and really the only one using them, so they'll be good. But if you have kids who can get in and out of the vault, they might not survive. But what are the odds that most kids…
