Review on High-Quality KeylessOption KOBUTAH2T Car Key Fob Replacement – Pack of 2 by Peter Parks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great, 30 seconds per do-it-yourself program with auto, 1/5 of what the dealer takes!

I have a 2000 Acura TL (base model) that I bought a few months ago without a remote. After speaking to an Acura dealer, I found out that they sell an Acura brand remote (model -KOBUTAH2T- which looks exactly the same but has "Acura" written over the red panic button) and they will program and sell to me for . hundred dollars (!). I bought these two from Revain for $40 (**$20 each**) and the package arrived two days before the earliest "estimated delivery date"! The paper inside directs you to www.remotesremotes.com for programming instructions which were very easy for my Acura TL. The process involved sitting in the driver's seat, the key in the ignition, and the sequence of turning the key to the "on" position, pressing the lock and turning the key off (all steps repeated three times), and then turning the lock twice pressed , then turn on the lock. any additional remote controls you wish to program. For the first time in my life I've done this and it literally took me 30 seconds to program both remotes. I now have keyless entry (no more key to open the door) including the trunk button. The only annoying thing that takes a bit of getting used to is that I have to hold down the trunk button for about 2.5 seconds to open the trunk. This isn't really a problem as it probably reduces the chance of an accidental trigger, it just lasts about a second longer than you should instinctively think. (I pressed it as a test and nothing happened. Press and hold = open). Overall it seems like a great product! If anything changes in the future I will change my rating.
