Arrived quickly. The machine was dusty, like a warehouse, and very well greased, as all good machines should be. Now I can wear both my gold and silver rings that I haven't been able to match for decades. Some rings I bought never fit and I just didn't go to the jeweler to get the size. For the price of a gold ring that can be measured by a jeweler I can now measure all my rings :-) Happy happy days. Be careful when choosing the right gear for your band. I've found that it's best to keep no light between the point of connection between the pin and the ring band - make sure there is good contact between the pin and the band. Match the contour of the belt to the contour of the gear. Also, the strips are easily damaged during the stretching process. It's not important to me, but it might be important to someone else. Today I tried on 14 rings, mostly gold. The only thing that broke was a very thin antique ring with a diamond in it. All the rings I measured today had stones. I am very happy.
