A solid choice for a small portable fan

I purchased this fan due to the record pacific northwest heatwave of 2021 and am glad I did. It's a good portable device, although you really can't feel much air on the lowest settings. After my initial disappointment, however, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the medium and high settings delivered about as much air as I expected from a fan of this size (or even a little more) - enough to create a record-breaking heatwave. a little more tolerant. The octopus-style wrap-around tripod has a solid construction; If you make sure it's secure after you've attached it to something, that fan isn't going anywhere until you tell it to. A clever option with octopus legs is to attach a fan to a floor lamp (especially gooseneck lamps) so you can direct the breeze towards you. Or try attaching it to a box or other raised object on your desk. The only limits to where you can place this fan is your imagination. Battery life and charging times are good. Assuming you're using it alone with no external power source, the internal battery should last around 6 hours on a low charge. Expect anywhere from an hour at altitude to two and a half on average. Once you connect the fan to a computer or other USB device, this fan can run as long as you need. I like to plug this fan into a USB extension cable and run it all day without draining the battery, then plug it into a power bank and run it all night in my bedroom. Not sure if the fan is running at max, but it only drained about half of my fully charged PSU at an average level overnight (took 7-8 hours). Then I just charge both the fan and the battery in the morning before the incinerator - er, I mean the sun - decides to do its triple digits. If this little fan can make a difference in a record heatwave, it should be even better in less extreme temperatures. This is a reliable device that is worth the money.
