I don't think the developers ever assembled them. Because if they did, they would find that the Phillips screws didn't fit. It should be a hex head so you can tighten them with a socket and wrench. With nylon nuts, the screwdriver always slips out. If you put the head on as it should, the clamps will interfere with the screwdriver. If you attach them in reverse order, you won't be able to put the socket on the nuts too easily and the screwdriver will slip out. So I run to Home Depot and buy some hex head screws. Really stupid.
