Great clamps with bad screws

I don't think the developers ever assembled them. Because if they did, they would find that the Phillips screws didn't fit. It should be a hex head so you can tighten them with a socket and wrench. With nylon nuts, the screwdriver always slips out. If you put the head on as it should, the clamps will interfere with the screwdriver. If you attach them in reverse order, you won't be able to put the socket on the nuts too easily and the screwdriver will slip out. So I run to Home Depot and buyโ€ฆ

I installed them differently.

Very nice. I didn't like the idea of attaching them to the front rack rail of my ATV. Just seemed too wavy for my comfort in the videos I watched. I attached a 2x8 to my front rack so it looked like a shelf was bolted on. First I wrapped camouflage tape around the tree (looks neat). Then I used two and a half inch screws and screwed the handles to the board. Now they are very strong and I could set them anywhere with the board. Just an idea I wanted to share. Those are really good brackets. Put

gotta do the trick

If these Kolpin Rhino Grips stand the test, they'll be a winner. I have handles for holding garden tools and snow shovels. Installation takes about 10 minutes, is simple and straightforward, and everything is there for installation. I like the idea that it's pretty easy to remove the handles when not needed by just pulling on the "pin". The quality out of the box seems good. Before mounting, make sure the distance matches the length of the handle or object you will be holding. I've found thatโ€ฆ

While I'm happy with the grips

While I'm happy with the grips, I'm not happy with the design saying they fit in a 2" OD rack and 1/4-20x 2 1/2 bolts with a nylon nut that can't even catch a thread! Kolpin, you screwed it up! body) of the stem, then place another metal plate on the opposite side and secure with 2 1/2 bolts and a nylock nut. Sorry but the plastic base is at least 3/4 inch thick then add 1/8 for the first metal plate, another 1/8 for the second metal plate and guess what? roller bar. I can't reach the boys! doโ€ฆ

Holds bow securely and tightly

Mounts to the front rack of an ATV to support a 30" bow with parallel arms. Quiver and other accessories, but once that's grasped, it does an excellent job of holding the bow in place on very rough roads. You can also rotate them 360 degrees and lock them in different positions, which also helped get them just the right angle. The ratcheting ability really helps hold the bow tight, and the soft rubber fingers didn't finish my bow at all ruined. The best possible way to hold a bow. I had toโ€ฆ

  • Large and Bulky

These things are very strong and hold tight. This was my second set for my new ATV. I've used them on my Honda Ranchers front rack since 2012 to haul tools around the farm and into the woods on a rear forty rack. I can easily insert my powerful Stihl combi-tool head with attachment into the clamps and it stays on without additional fixation. My trails are rough and bumpy and these clamps never let go. Simultaneously holds two shovels and an axe. Grabs a "hammer" right on the fence post, mineโ€ฆ

Nice frame! Best in Handlebars & Components

I read all the bad reviews before buying. But I liked the concept so much that I bought it anyway. While I've had some of the issues described in the reviews, they are "fixable". The base attaches to my 4 wheel rack. Just make sure you put a piece of rubber on the top and bottom of each clip. The package looked like there were only two pieces of rubber, but when I tried to attach them I noticed that the rubber was actually two pieces glued together. The wobble was caused by loosening two hexโ€ฆ
