Nice frame! Best in Handlebars & Components

I read all the bad reviews before buying. But I liked the concept so much that I bought it anyway. While I've had some of the issues described in the reviews, they are "fixable". The base attaches to my 4 wheel rack. Just make sure you put a piece of rubber on the top and bottom of each clip. The package looked like there were only two pieces of rubber, but when I tried to attach them I noticed that the rubber was actually two pieces glued together. The wobble was caused by loosening two hex head screws holding the grip together. Put them on and the game was gone. Spraying a little W-D40 on the cam joint works wonders. To open the jaws when they're holding something, I've found that if you squeeze the clip with one hand when you press the release button, it opens easily with no issues. They fit my crossbow perfectly, which is why I bought them. I've also used these with my rifle which had a heavy barrel and they worked great. Went at 15mph on bumpy trails and nothing moved. They haven't moved since I saddled them. My 4-wheel trailer travels everywhere. So the collars get all the dirt from the street and ten kilometers of dusty road to the deer for rent and don't fall out. Although the lowest temperature I've experienced is 20 degrees, they worked fine. They're plastic and I don't really expect them to withstand a blow from a tree or for a large vine to catch my rifle or crossbow while I'm out since I'm not that careless with my firearms. There's nothing "bulletproof" about them, but they're great for my needs. I would give them five stars if I didn't need to tweak them.
